Teal dots are fingers that stay planted from the chord before.

This is the real engine, cut down to one progression. The full tool does any progression in any key, with 860+ checked voicings to explore.

What it fixes

The three questions guitarists keep asking

Which fret does the capo go on?

Capo finder. Every capo position that gives you easy shapes for the key, with the chords you finger and the chords the band hears.

My chord changes are slow and messy.

Smooth it. One tap picks the voicings where the fewest fingers move, and shows you which ones stay planted.

My progressions sound flat.

Colour voicings. The add9, sus and 7th shapes that make four chords sound like a record.

How it works

From chart to chords in 30 seconds

  1. Tap the song key.

B♭, E♭, F: whatever the chart or keys player says.

  2. Pick a capo.

Capo 3 with G shapes, capo 1 with A shapes. You see what you play and what it sounds like.

  3. Build the progression and tap Smooth it.

    Chords are numbered 1, 4, 5, 6m, so a band leader's numbers make sense.

  4. Press play.

Hear it with a strum pattern at your tempo, before rehearsal.

Questions

Before you buy

Do I need to download an app?

No. You get a private link that opens in your phone or computer browser. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once and keep it.

I'm a beginner. Is it too advanced?

If you know a few open chords (G, C, D, Em), you can use it today. Smooth it actually makes changes easier, because fewer fingers move.

What tuning does it use?

Standard tuning (E A D G B E). Capo positions 0 to 9 are supported.

Does it play sound?

Yes, a plucked-guitar sound with a strum pattern and tempo control. On iPhone, turn off silent mode first.

How do I get it after paying?

Straight away. Your receipt email includes the quick-start guide with your private link(s).
